“The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. The location is close to eating areas, and a restaurant is next door. This place is a good……

“The property is very nice and roomy. Wonderful views from the living room/kitchen/ and master bedroom. The dock is also very nice and long - we really enjoyed getting together in the morning and for the sunset. The TV room had a couch that had a broken cushion. We stuffed a pillow in there and made it work, but the couch should be replaced. The yard had a water leak that had been there awhile and the ground was very slimy and slippery there were also bees and wasps gathering there. One of……

“It was POURING rain the whole time, which gave us a different way of seeing things! Totally romantic and cozy, and talk about zero people on the lake. All the amenities were there and we cooked dinner every night. It'd be nice to go back when it's sunnier for a different outlook.”

“Great location, newly renovated house, management was very responsive and helpful, only issue is the sulphur smell in the water. It’s hard to drink the water or take shower with such a strong smell. Hope they fix it somehow. Otherwise an outstanding place with amazing views right from inside the house ”
