“We booked this amazing property for a 60th birthday & Girls trip to get away from the men & boys in our lives! It was perfect!!! There is so much room. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We could all comfortably sit in the living room, sit at the table & with only moving one chair around the fire pit on the porch. Any question or concern we had was promptly addressed by Shane. We throughly enjoyed our trip and had already started planning our return with some of the families next year!!!……

“Very nice stay, could be improved with a few inexpensive minor changes- an additional towel rack in the bathroom, more implements in the kitchen, instructions for use of some of the extras and appliances, and some warning about the fact that you can't park on the street overnight. Also a chair on night stand in each bedroom.”

“We stayed in this nice little cottage and it was very nice. The view out of the windows in the living room/dining room were wonderful all day every day. It was an all around great time and we are already trying to decide when we can go back. ”

“Host wouldn't answer any questions until the week of our stay, hot tub was green and unusable when we arrived, host refused to come out or have someone treat it. We were told we would get a partial refund for that but didn't. Ended up shocking the water ourselves. There was a bottle marked E-coli in the refrigerator so we were afraid to use it. The fridge and oven were visibly filthy. The house smelled so bad of dog we had to buy scented candles and air freshener to stay. There were not enough……

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The residence is a beautiful older home, 30’s & 40’s style hardwood floors, plaster walls, cool woodwork… things you don’t find in many more newly built homes. And a nice setting, close to groceries, eateries, gas. Would definitely consider staying here again,when in the North Country.”

“Spent a summer week visiting family. The house is well-appointed, well-organized, comfortable and convenient to downtown. The owners take good care and have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and easy.”

“We had the very best time here as a family. Communication with owners was prompt and the check in process/tour by Barbara and her daughter, along with the goodie basket and a note for us was a nice personal touch! We felt very welcomed. The kids (teenage girls) did puzzles, canoed and kayaked. My husband and I canoed in the rain (fishing) and saw an otter swimming towards us, it felt a little magical. It was peaceful, quiet and private. The only thing I wished for is that we could have stayed……

“Adorable, comfortable house. Needed a place for 4 people and the house was the perfect size. Walking distance from downtown and Clarkson. Little too long a walk to SUNY Potsdam. The fire pit out back was an added bonus. Would stay there again if we return to Potsdam.”
