“The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect……

“The environment is comfortable and quiet, with clean and tidy bedding. The setting is pleasant, and cooking utensils are fully equipped. There are various types of shopping venues near the hotel. “It is a terrible place to stay, the only (small) window of the studio was just above a generator running 24/7, so the smoke of the exhaust pipe would enter the studio if we wanted to open the window for fresh air! Plus constant noise of the engine. They send like 10 automatic emails in a day but never reply to my messages about my request to change room, never offer for a partial reinsbursement. I left the second day (of a week stay) as it was impossible to stay in those conditions. The mattress……

“We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day. ”
