“We were looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, away from the madding crowd, to enjoy good food, sunshine and relaxation. This property ticked all the boxes. It is very remote (which is what we wanted) but the nearest shop or civilisation of any kind is several miles away so definitely not recommended without a car. For a peaceful and beautiful location though, it is highly recommended.”

But what makes it special is the warm welcome and amazingly helpful hosts, who keep everything in perfect working order. It’s very peaceful, but that does mean the nearest shops and restaurants are a drive away.”
