I’m not a fan of all-inclusive resorts, especially in Aruba, where there are plenty of great dining options. However, I’ve stayed at enough to know the difference between good, bad, and awful. My overall experience here was just okay—not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it or return. Here’s why: 1.Too Many Rules & Inconveniences – You get one towel card per person, and if you lose it, you pay. You must exchange your card or a wet towel for a fresh one—never more than one at a time. At checkout, missing cards cost you. 2.Mediocre Food & Limited Options – Restaurants are few and underwhelming. Food is decent at best, with limited menus. No reservations are needed, but expect long waits. Restaurants don’t serve cocktails—you have to bring your own or leave mid-meal to get one. Dinner quality is slightly better than the buffet, but everything seems to come from the same kitchen. 3.Outdated & Poor Maintenance – Our room key stopped working every single night, forcing a trip to the lobby for reprogramming. Staff had no explanation, and other guests had the same issue. The elevators were painfully slow and felt like they were about to break. Imagine ending every night dealing with this—whether tired, drunk, in the mood, or desperately needing the bathroom. I went through all of the above. I won’t even rant about the drinks as they were just bottom shelf trash served in tiny cups. Bring a tumbler and ask for better alcohol by the pool. 4. Staff is inconsistently kind and helpful
