“This house has the qualities of a classic Kiwi bach, with some well-conceived improvements. The view onto the water is stunning, and the extended deck plus generous windows and ranch sliders make allowed us to enjoy this on fine and wet days. The wood heater was stocked with plenty of firewood. The large new shower was great although our 90yr old mother needed a handhold. The split level floors were a challenge for her walker, and a handhold in the toilet would have been helpful. However the……

“A lovely spacious home comfortable and warm. No cupboard storage for our own food was a slight problem. Handy to walks and the Picton shops. I would recommend this accommodation for any large family gathering. Unusual that there was no aerial for normal TV reception. A great selection of DVD's that were watched instead.”

“We loved staying here. We were 2 couples. We loved that each bedroom had ots owm ensuite. The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it. Check in and check out wad a breeze. We would definitely stay here again! Fabulous and close to many great vineyards! Thank you hosts! ”

“We stayed here with our extended family over a long weekend. The views from the bach were the main reason why we booked and they did not disappoint. The cleanliness of the Bach was not great on arrival, it was clear that only a surface level clean had been done for some time. The bunk bed is very squeaky, which didn’t help when trying to get the kids to sleep. Good location with only a short walk to the jetty and waterfront. ”
