“Kitchen was well equipped. Nice place to sit outside to chill and eat, away from the sun. The loungers were great, by the pool, loved the little pullout tables. Comfy beds, also the bedding and towels. Really enjoyed the upstairs balcony. Sitting, and looking out at the Beautiful view of the beach. Cleaners came twice a week. Host Ria was so nice, making sure all was fine, and if we needed anything. Looked after us very well. Thank you Ria.”

“We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. There is a mini market by the pool which is very well stocked. A bus outside the hotel takes you all the way into the centre of Chania and runs frequently. "The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time. "
