“We booked via expedia. Since we expect ourselves to arrive later than check in hours, we have requested expedia to contact the park for late check in arrangement. The reply from expedia is asking us to contact hotel directly. We arrived the park 18:01 and the reception is closed. Without receiving any safe box code from expedia, we stand in front of the gate with wind and rain. Fortunately, we called and left message to the park’s after hours mobile, and Belinda (the property manager)……

“Great place to stay for a fishing trip. Nothing beats walking onto your boat to go fishing at 6am and then coming home for a relaxing brunch by the water. Sue is a wonderful host. All the neighbours are friendly and Marks Point has a really strong community. The two local cafe's are both amazing. We did have one small problem with people using the jetty without permission and respect of the guests. Sue managed the issue very well which is all we can ask. ”

“Exactly as per the listing, sweet, clean cabin that suited myself and friend and would suit a family or 2 couples. Cosy, but has everything you need. Awesome beach a few minutes walk away (uphill) and we spent the day walking as you can walk to Terrigal (tide mindful). Plenty of things to do around the area however if you just want fresh air and peace & quiet, an ideal place to stay. Justine lovely and nothing too much trouble and gave us plenty of tips. As the property had such a nice outdoor……

“The property was amazing. Bedrooms are very spacious with loads of cupboard space. Bathrooms also very good. Kitchen extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. All the various areas for entertainment offer larger groups a choice of activities. The outdoor dining/lounging plus the covered pool was terrific. We had a wonderful few days with family and highly recommend this property. ”
