“Best youth hostel in Oslo. Staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and tidy. They even provide towels, linens, body wash and shampoo unlike other youth hostels. Not the closest to the downtown area of Oslo but would only take you a short tram ride, definitely acceptable considered the cost”

“This was an amazing week in a well-located hotel. The food was incredible. Service excellent. Room very big with warm bathroom tiles, fridge, great internet. Most of all the staff was superb. The hotel layout was a little complex in room assignment. I had a beautiful stay and would definitely recommend this Thon Hotel Cecil.”

“Pros: the room is super clean and tidy, equipped with all essentials, location is great, easier to access (although the front door keypad doesn't always work at the first attempt). Cons: ventilation is a problem. Firstly it was HOT in the room during my stay, the city was 28 degrees outside and the window was out of order (or maybe it is blocked delibrately), so there was little to no air flow in the room, I had to use my shoe to keep the door open to get some fresh air.
