“A little way out of town but only a few minutes in a hire car. We were met at the airport with the car and shown the way to the units. Having the car organised by the motel made everything simple but the car was rather old and a bit battered. OK for the very short drives on the island. Large unit which would have been ideal for a family with three single beds upstairs and a nice kitchen and pool. Our bed was a bit hard. “Absolutely loved Norfolk Island and the Aloha was a big part of that. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and, being near the centre of Burnt Pine, we were only minutes walk from the supermarket and the Bowling Club. The staff were both friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again.”

“If it wasn’t for the good natured Tima, the resort mgr,, then I probably would be somewhat hesitant in staying. I used half a can of mortein with 3 cockroaches in the bathroom walls and one scurrying across the bed head ledge on my first night. Then l had clusters of ants in my luggage so when I took clothing out each day, t would have to shake it out. There are no provided drawers for clothing. Also photos on websites of the Cumberland do not show clearly all the areas of the resort. To feature……

“We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed how there was no stress as were picked up from the airport, had offer of car hire that meant we had a car waiting once arrived at Endeavour Lodge. We had a great sea view and the facilities were excellent. Everything we needed to cook and store food was provided ((more than most places tend to offer). “The apartment and its amenities met all my expectations, except for the internet service, which was lousy. There is a Norfolk Telecom wi-fi hotspot on the property, however its line-of-site service does not extend to all the apartments. There was no service at all to my apartment and I was forced to go outside and sit in the BBQ area to get any reception. Even then the service was unacceptably slow, although this is likely outside the control of Hibiscus Crown itself. Suggest that those for……
