“Patrick's home is a renovated farmhouse that has been lovingly restored. It has three good-sized bedrooms, all with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a separate bathroom downstairs. However impressed you may be by the pictures, they don't do the house full justice and it is even more beautiful when you arrive. There is also a large garden, with outdoor eating space. Absolute peace and quiet are very much the order of the day, but if you feel the need for noise then there is nobody……

“This rather isolated house was a bit hard to find at first, but it is very well situated with both privacy and sweeping views in mind. We were a bit far from the crowds celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, but the drive up to the coast was only marred by the huge crowds and all of the dignitaries present for the occasion. All of the DDay beaches and principal towns were locked down for Macron, Biden and about 140 other heads of state or high office holders and the Vets who……
