“This is a shared house. I hit it lucky and no one else came in, but I realize I could have ended up sharing the one bathroom with up to four other people.The bed is uncomfortable and sags badly. The TV doesn’t work and the overhead light flickers. The refrigerator and freezer and kitchen sink were downright dirty. The owner did give me a small refund on the cleaning fee which I have no evidence of as of now, but she said she did that. I would say my dog liked the yard which was completely……

“The Bayview Cottage was very much as described, which we liked, as it is not always the case with rented holiday homes. The whole house was clean and inviting, and we immediately felt at home. The living room was comfortably furnished, with two clean and very comfortable sofas, a large TV and the dining table with a view of the water. We were a little surprised at first by the small number of plates and cutlery, but it turned out that the dishwasher had not been emptied. We took care of that and……

“There were some issues with the neighbor's aggressive dogs and some growing mold in one of the rooms. Both issues were addressed by the BNB owner in an effort to alleviate our negative experience, and a discount was given (because we were unable to find any other BNB accommodations). However, the overall experience was poor and so we won't be back. ”

“We had a perfect evening stay on our roadtrip. The house perfect. The the top bunks upstairs are a bit close to the ceiling so really only suited for a small person. Our 5 year old was just fine, the nine year old had a harder time. But all in all, it was a lovely night. ”
