“The Sea Loft was the perfect place to stay on Kangaroo Island. It’s close enough to Kingscote but also far enough away to feel secluded. We were visited daily by the local wild life, including kangaroos, wallabies and even an echidna! The property had great facilities including a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. Located centrally enough to everything on the island it provided a great base camp to see all KI has to offer. ”

“The cabin was showing it’s age The television didn’t pick up any stations We couldn’t work out how to operate the very old stove When I went to use the barbecue equipment they where out of gas”

“Our room was really comfortable and very homely but tastefully decorated at the same time. Good bed and good cooking facilities. The kitchen was well stocked. We had beautiful gum trees with koalas right near our door. American River is a great location as its half way between Penneshaw and Kingscote. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“I booked this house in the first week of school holidays for my children and their families to stay. A big family holiday. House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience……

“Charming unit with all we needed in a good location. Good shower and heater. Handy kitchen. Just enough space and furniture to be cosy and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Property was lovely, well equipped with all that one requires, beach on doorstep. It was very peaceful, no traffic noise and so forth. Beach pristine. Travelling to see other places on the island we found (being in a sedan car) was tiring (on the gravel roads to and from the property). Yes one is in the centre so to speak and could visit one day to the left and next to right.KI has amazing places to see. All in all we had a great time. Thank you.”
