The kids stayed in the upper floor - note there are steeper than normal steps leading upstairs but my boys didn't mind. Plenty of attention to details throughout the house with all of modern comforts of home. Good central location close to Nanaimo for all of your day trips.”

“What an amazing cabin! Loved every minute. Wild blackberries growing right outside the door, super comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, a bbq and the longest bathtub in the history of the world. Our hosts were excellent and offered many ideas of great places to visit. Can’t wait to come back!”

“The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. A note was left for us saying that the……

“This is a lovely one bedroom apartment located in a quiet subdivision of Duncan. Minutes from the downtown area and close to the road leading to Cowichan Lake. The gardens are beautiful. The apartment is equipped with everything you want for a short stay, Keurig, milk, sugar, etc. the host was quick to respond to all our questions. Hard to ask for anything better from a host or home.”
