“We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit. Even though it was cool my wife enjoyed the quiet solitude of the Eagles Nest gazebo for morning devotions. We had two separate whale sightings and the……

“If you want peace and quiet, along with an over the top spectacular view, this is the perfect place! So enjoyable to sit back and watch the tide move in and out, observe eagles and gulls and keep an eye out for porpoises, whales, and otters. The cottage is comfortable, and full of interesting collectables, art and books about the region. Dennis was a fantastic host - very helpful and responsive to any question or need. It was such an enjoyable stay - I can't wait to get back!”

“We’ve stayed at this lovely property two years in a row and plan to visit again in the future. The host is so lovely and helpful, but is not at all intrusive. The view of the ocean is wonderful and it is fun to watch the boats going to and from the harbor. There is a family of eagles that make regular appearances. “The check in was so easy and the place was amazing. I went with my 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 8, we all loved the cottage and view of the ocean. The owners have so much history of the cottage and campobello, i really enjoyed tje reading materials and all the items in tje cottage that are old or new with so much history of the island..the first night we had this amazing sunset, the picture i posted is untouched..i would love to go agaim next summer.
