“Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. The cabins themselves look new and the details of the decorating were so beautiful/serene. Oh and we also had access to a……

“We enjoyed our stay in the cottage although this was mainly due to the friendship of the four women. The views are breathtaking in the midst of nature’s beauty. There should be better signage on the road leading to the cottage. We arrived late afternoon, GPS on but service is not the best. We drove way past the small number sign. Four women alone on a wilderness road, no phone signal, no GPS and no SOS…..scary to say the least. Upon entry to the cottage, we were hit with cold dampness. Heat……

“Compact, many small amenities that make a great stay even better. Everything is clean and high quality. Bryan was attentive and made sure we were settled and comfortable. We had the best stay, we can't wait to come back. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep and could be challenging for arthritic knees. The handrails are helpful and everything about the place speaks to safety and comfort. The sun room is a place you never want to leave. Its gorgeous and relaxing, exactly what we needed.……
