“This quaint and very comfortable Lakeside House is a fabulous retreat! The house is clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. The view is stunning and ever changing with interesting wildlife. We particularly enjoyed using the Kayak(s) and the firepit. The shed had plenty of supplies for aquatic activities and grilling. The only drawback to this wonderful cabin is the long climb up and down on the slab staircase leading……

“Beautiful lake house 15 minutes from Colgate. It was the perfect spot to relax with family and celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Right on the lake and perfectly appointed. We had a great time! ”

“Great place centrally located to family. (Pet friendly) Enjoy fishing, kayaking, and relaxing by the fire pit. ”

“They supposedly didn’t know we were coming, there was a mouse in the toilet, the floors had not been swept, they had a bunch of food and in the freezer and fridge, liquor had been out, no wifi or service, the bed sheets were dirty, no curtains on any of the windows, the doors and ALL windows were unlocked when we got there but the didn’t know we were coming? ”

“Hirut was a great host, even sharing some of the coffee she roasted with us to use! Our unit was clean, and although we were there mostly only to sleep and shower, it was for the most part comfortable. With that said, we were there on a rather hot summer weekend, and would recommend an additional a/c unit given that not all windows can be opened... which resulted in some warm nights for us.”
