“The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. A note was left for us saying that the……

“This place was simply perfect for our family of 6. It was 12 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo, it had a BBQ, a backyard for the kids to play in, it was near a ton of great parks, and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I really have it sometimes you could hear the owners above, they had a small child and you could hear the stomping and crying. Property owner was incredibly nice but only one of them spoke English! Otherwise it was truly an incredible experience and I would come back……

Quiet neighborhood & great location to nearby parks, grocery store & eateries.Easy drive to Parksville & Qualicum Beach. Highly recommend visiting Little Qualicum Falls & Englishman River Falls. Aiden, the host, was easy to get in touch with & very accommodating.”

“We absolutely loved our stay in this unique cottage on the water. Beautifully decorated, and clean. Very picturesque views, we loved sitting on the deck looking out at the water and we enjoyed campfires at night. The beds were very comfortable and lots of space for our family. We also enjoyed the little bunk house! The cottage was walking distance to such unique shops and great restaurants. Couldn’t be better! Highly recommend!”
