“The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . “We stayed with Kevin twice during our 2-week trip to Dominica. Kevin's place is clean and comfortable, and he's a great cook! Kevin also organizes tours of the Kalinago territory, and I would greatly recommend it! We got to meet local people who showed us and invited us to participate in various aspects of Kalinago culture. I had looked for an experience like this online but couldn't find one. In addition, we had several great discussions about Dominican history, politics, and Kalinago……

“This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. ”

“We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem.”

“Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and……

“This was my 2nd time staying at Pinard Mountain Resort and it was wonderful. The beautiful views and calm tranquil surroundings made my stay amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. I was very happy to see Ms. Remy again. She is a beautiful & intellegent young woman and a great asset to the resort. I was very sad to leave but am hopeful to come back and stay again next year. Much love to Pinard Mountain Resort. 10 out of 10.”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“Staying at this property was truly the right decision for all the good reasons. First of all and foremost, James and Maureen Dominique are simple one of the best hosts I've ever had. They were so supportive and attentive to all of my needs, even when some of them came late in the night. I loved their friendship and huge smile when greeting me anytime we met each other. Their one-bedroom suite is super comfortable, spacious and fully and well furnished, good for all kinds of stays. The house……
