“Very quiet property. Cozy cabin. The grounds are very well maintained. You do not feel like you are in town, but get the convenience of downtown Hayward being within walking distance. Matt was an excellent & responsive host! We would stay again.”

“The view is amazing! The accommodations could use a little bit of work. The water is an issue. It does smell awful and you cannot drink it. The listing is misleading. It states there is a spa tub and there is not. With a little bit of effort this could be an amazing place. Our stay way good overall. I just wouldn’t stay here again.”

“It was our first time in the area and it was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, charm, and comfort. My favorite part was the location/neighborhood because it was quiet and right next to the nature park (perfect for our dogs). It was also just a short walk to the water/restaurants. ”

“This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby. ”

“Just a few suggestions:1. Make sure there are towels & wash rags in each bathroom. There was not soap in each shower.2. More dishtowels & dish cloths.3. One microwave didn't work.4. One oven took forever to preheat.5. Rugs are a tripping hazard.6. Also, just wanted to let you know that the hot water heater alarm went off a couple of times.6. There was hardly any disherwasher soap.7. Suggestion - more boxes of kleenex.8. You might want to get the softener checked, also.”
