“We had such a great stay at this cottage! The property was beautiful and clean, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun getaway. There’s also a small island nearby with little beaches and shallow water. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. We’d definitely love to come back!”

I booked early at the beginning of the season for an end-of-August stay, and they were always quick to reply.I initially thought the cottage was bigger, but that was just my perception.The spa was clean and ready to use. For peace of mind, I checked it myself with a strip, and it was perfectly balanced.I would recommend adding another air conditioner on the main floor, but……

The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, with tonnes of wildlife to enjoy, and great for stand up paddle boarding (my favourite activity was looking for turtles in the shallows while riding one of the paddleboards).  The cottage has comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. There are great views of the lake from the dining room, deck and yard. Val des Bois has lots of amenities, including two great ice cream……
