“Deck needs to be replaced, very dangerous for older people. The check in was bizarre, met with owner's sister who in great detail explained what should be explained a manual. When you arrive at your vacation location the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes going over these things. The location was fabulous but the site is quite musty smelling, furniture and deck should be replaced before it is available for rent again.”

The house itself was well suited for our family with 3 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, multiple areas to relax inside, WiFi, and a nice deck of the back to enjoy eating outside. “The property was clean and didn't show any adverse effects of last years hurricane...very quiet and right on the shore. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit provided and watched the sunset....Due to its rural setting the stars are amazing clear. The accommodations are very rustic...The beds were comfortable. “We recently had to put our 14.5 yr old dog down on May 15, 2025 and we just needed to get out of the house as everything reminded us of our loss and the emptiness of house was so hard. So we thought a mini road trip would help. The Comfort Inn offered just that comfort. The cleanliness, the kind and caring staff, the breakfast with the assortment of options was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you the staff at the Comfort Inn. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it……
