“Lived in Mahone Bay for a while in 1981. Still such a picturesque town and beautiful coastline to explore.The lovely unit of Pam and David’s was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, short walk to the main town. Private and elegant, parking, good Wifi, felt like home. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.”

“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and……

“Lovely apartment overlooking salt water bay. Interior was spotless and well appointed. Houseplants were well maintained. Bathroom was modern and had nice amenities such as heated towels rack lighted mirror, and beautiful shower.Kitchen was well appointmented with utensils, coffee grinder, magic bullet, and dishwasher.Beds were comfortable and lamps had usb chargers built in. Limited clothing storage, no dressers.Heatpump worked great to heat and cool, we needed both during our stay.Outdoors had……

“Convenient for attending Dalhousie graduation ”

“We spent three nights at Rock haven and were very pleased with the property. sitting out on the porch with a view of the bay was very peaceful. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We were a little surprised to see no tv....but who needs it there. The area is convenient for Peggy's cove and the owners suggestion of the drive down old hwy 3 to Lunenburg was fantastic. My only complaint would be .... and I understand why... (the cottage is at the rear of the owners property at the bay,……

“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. It’s a bit of a drive outside of the city, but we were just there at the end of the night to sleep, so we didn’t mind it, and it was a nice, quiet area. All in all,……

“This property was clean, well stocked with items we would need, had a fabulous view the water. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property if you are looking for some relaxation yet still driveable to tourist spots (1 hour +/-).”
