“While the weather turned a bit cold and windy. It was a great stay to unwind from a tough year. The fireplace was fantastic and so were the restaurant recommendations by the owner. Would definitely like to enjoy the property when it's warmer out to enjoy the outdoors more.”

“We had a great time staying here with all of the spa amenities. Massage chair is very nice, hot tub, cold plunge and sauna were a great. King bed was comfy and shower was very nice. Heated bathroom floor is awesome. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Typically we look for more private stays but this was definitely worth the change up. ”

“We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. “We very much enjoyed our stay. The location allowed easy walking to the many shops, restaurants, and interesting sites in downtown Dover. The property was clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. The thoughtful amenities were appreciated, especially the tea, coffee, filters, and Q tips.”

“The hosts are super attentive, communicative and the check in could not have been easier. The place was super clean with all utensils, plates and kitchen supplies. There is an extended dog leash in the backyard so your pup can explore safely. Overall would recommend, the fireplace in particular was amazing to use.”

“Loon Retreat is a well-kept home with 4+ bedroom areas and lots of space. The kitchen has plenty of pots & pans, utencils, modern appliances and a large table able to seat our group of 10; lots of books, artwork, games, binoculars, etc. We were very happy with the large back deck, 4 kayaks & canoe and easily accessed dock and swimming area. The lake is very clean. We were disappointed that we could not bring a portable firepit for s'mores --a first in our many years of lakeside renting, and that……

“Awesome place for a getaway. The cottage is fully stocked and has everything you could need. The hot tub is especially nice and is in tip top shape. Loved being in the hot tub and watching the stars. Enjoyed the fire pit! Barbequed on the grill and ate dinner on the porch .porch. Kitchen was easy to cook ineverything. ”
