“Nice place, very comfortable, beautiful spot on the lake. House was perfectly cleaned. Appliances and everything included were newish and worked great. Lots of little nice touches around the house. Probably the best rental we've ever had. Owners go above and beyond with obvious pride in their lovely lakeside cottage.”

“I would have given this property 5 stars except for the sketchy kitchen equipment. When traveling with pets it is often difficult to go out to eat. Therefore we made three meals a day and wished for 1)a toaster oven 2)electric kettle and 3) more hot pads, kitchen towels, and spatulas”

“This beautiful home was perfect for our family for six adults and four small children. We live in three different states, so coming to your house allowed us to spend extended time together. One of our favorite activities was flying paper airplanes from the balcony of the top floor to the living room. Thank you for leaving two small foam airplanes to inspire us. The living room was a great place to gather to read a pile of children’s books intermittently throughout our days with our little ones.……

“The house is exactly what the listing describes. Best place I’ve stayed at! They had everything you could think of, and if you forget something, they must likely have it there. Host answers pretty quick. We had a great time, we hope to be back to use that beach! I was a disappointed, there was a storm coming in, so I wasn’t able to stay my full time & I didn’t get offered any kind of reimbursement for the night I missed. ”

“Lovely mountain home, house had everything you could need and LOTS of activities for kids and teens. Hot tub and sauna were a huge hit after skiing! Owners/managers answered questions within a few minutes, very helpful. Super convenient if you are skiing at Sunday River!”

“When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.”

“This is a quiet and well kept property. Plenty of room to find a quiet space to relax by the river. A private dock to launch a kayak, swim or tube. The view was great . All amenities for outdoor activities were setup like Volleyball and badminton. Also a nice fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. Get your own wood . Tiki torches were set up but you have to bring your own fuel also. We brought our own kayak. The kitchen was equipped with all pans and utensils to cook and a great big grill……

“Loved our visit to this log home. Very spacious and well equiped kitchen. Amazing views of the lake. Had everything you need for a nice relaxing trip with your family or group of friends. They give access to their canoe and kayaks. Theres a place to gather around a fire and a deck to enjoy the views and grill for your needs.Also an indoor fire place with plenty of wood available!
