“This property is immaculately maintained! The rental is extremely well thought out. We were in awe of all of the little things; from tons of towels, soap, condiments, coffee, firewood, Lauren thought of everything! We could not have asked for a better cottage in the woods. This location shown on a National Geographic map has very little light pollution making it the ideal location for stargazing! It was an easy drive on highway 59 from New Orleans. “This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug.
