“Do make sure you confirm your reservation with the hotel. I had to send to send a friend to the hotel to physically confirm my reservation before I arrived in Mauritania. Do expect check in to take anywhere from two to five hours. We waited an hour and a half for checkin because electricity was down. We found many families who have been waiting for hours for check in. Electricity and internet went down more than three times when we were at the hotel for a week’s stay. Do not expect good customer……
