“New Caledonia in comparison to NZ and AU is quite expensive, you get good value for money here. It's a bit off the beaten track, which we prefer. It's dated, but has everything one would otherwise need. Be sure to take advantage of the breakfast, it's huge and only $23 NZD. We stayed a couple of different nights in a suite and each room opens out either directly to the water (level 1) or with views to the ocean (level 2) and were clean and large. The staff were lovely, having google translate……

He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.”
