“We arrived in Mahia and had a week of cold wet southerly weather - so no boating and the sea (NE coast) was too murky for snorkelling.After a few days our adult son ( keen surfer) went off to find swells and my wife and I settled in to sit out the bad weather.Andrew and Aroha’s Bach is snug and warm and with the shade screens down securely we were able to spread out and relax. “As a large family of three generations this bach was ideal for us, as were able to pitch tents to allow separation for our teenagers, and it was well fenced for our dog. The bach was very well appointed, and with a couple of minor additions would be rated as excellent. Communication was great before and after, and we all had a wonderful time in a beautiful part of the world! ”

“This was the first time we have stayed in a place like this, usually it is camp grounds or motels, and we had a wonderful time. If you want to spend time on a farm away from any technology and town life then this is the place to come.
