“The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was definitely the pool—it was such a relaxing and private spot to unwind. Gaining access to the home was seamless with clear instructions provided ahead of time. The bed was super comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, like the coffee machine that made our mornings even better. All in all, a great stay and we’d definitely come back!”

“This house is a gem. It is large, very clean and a museum!! Most of the house has furnishings and fixtures from over 100 years ago. It is fantastic. I spent so much time reading the little descriptions of items in the house. The stove, the shelves, windows, chairs, paintings, etc. I enjoyed every moment. “Best rental in Angels Camp hands down!!! Our family of 4 adults, 4 kids (ages 11-15) and our furry baby absolutely loved our time at Tanko House. It had EVERYTHING we needed. The beds were super comfortable and there are loads of pillows and blankets that you can make your bed as cozy as desired. The house has 2 game rooms which was fun for the adults and teenagers to do activities independently. The game room in the main house has a bunch of board games, old school Atari machine,……

“Gorgeous, isolated chateau surrounded by Lodi Wine country. Home was large, spacious, and immaculate. Well appointed home even with separate wine and champagne glasses!! Dream kitchen, and even in the bunk-room there were high end memory foam beds. Backyard was spectacular with poor, spa, and pickleball court all in good working order. Fire pit and covered al-fresco dining area were bonuses! Among the best places I have stayed, and I have rented >20 homes over the last few years….”
