“This house was spectacular with spectacular views! We were visited by a humpback whale as soon as we walked outside. We were all able to rest and have a peaceful time exploring coupeville while taking in the scenery. The full size crib for my 2 year old was absolutely essential. On our past day we were visited by multiple whales almost as a "goodbye for now". Amazing!”

“We stayed on Whidbey for 5 days to be out of our house while we had some interior painting completed. The location was perfect, we walked in Joseph Whidbey state park daily, walked on the beach. Home was centrally located for us. and the view was amazing!,”

“The place was perfect for our family of 4. I read other reviews that if you have Verizon you would have great signal and hot spot if you needed it which was true for us. As part of your stay they provide three bundles of firewood, smores kits, coffee, cocoa, and tea. A definite plus, which we took full advantage of. Fire starter and lighter sticks also provided. Place was clean, well decorated and had all the necessary amenities. Just enough space between cabins which gave the right amount……

“Very quint & peaceful”

“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“The Gnome cabin is very nice. Comfortable couch to relax on, nice kitchen and dining table, large bathroom with a washer and dryer and two good size bedrooms. A large deck and cute yard. The beds are memory foam which some people may find uncomfortable. I would recommend a non- skid pad for the shower floor as the soft water makes it slippery. We would recommend the Gnome cabin for a visit to the island. ”
