Very dog friendly

Community was very dog friendly and we loved the privacy fence which allowed for our dog to retrieve every morning without us having to drive to a dog park. The house was comfortable and user friendly We would definitely visit again if ever in the area.

Wonderful beach stay

This beach house is amazing! It took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach and the home was very well maintained and clean. The backyard was large and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Great home

We have family that lives on Oak Island and this was by far our favorite rental. The house was perfect and very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed, and the best part…its location, It’s 3 streets away from our family. The backyard was large and so nice for our dogs. Thank you so much to the host! We will return. Great cottage with spacious fenced backyard and powerful AC!

We stayed at the Blue Cottage for a long weekend with our pups and absolutely recommend this listing! Spacious, secure yard with lots of room for the pups to run. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils. Large AC unit kept the house very cool all weekend. Not having a king bed was a minor inconvenience, but we made it work! Great spot for a small family to stay on Oak Island!

wonderful property in quiet neighborhood

melinda was great to work with, and the property is just as pictured, clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. we enjoyed the outdoor spaces too(except those durn flies), and it was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, we rented umbrellas and chairs from quicksand to make it easier. the decor is really cute beach-not overdone and keyless enrty great-once we got the hang of it-. the outdoor shower was nice for a rinse, and not having a dishwasher was no biggy.

Oak Island Getaway

We had a great stay at the house for 3 nights in August and it was our first time in Oak Island. The Blue Cottage was very comfortable for thee 4 of us and our Dog. We loved the fenced in backyard and it was a vert nice and well kept house.

Great family stay!

Homey, cozy and clean! Loved having upstairs and downstairs' baths for the kids and adults. Not having to worry about the dog getting out was a bonus as well as the spray-off station. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Blue Cottage get away

A wonderful time was had by all. Just what we all needed. This cottage is above and beyond comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely go back again. In a lot of ways it reminded me of our cottage and atmosphere on Eastern Long Island!! An extra plus . Thanks Melinda

Gorgeous Blue Cottage

This is an amazing cottage to stay at. It has everything you will need. The privacy fence for my dog was a huge plus. He had plenty of room to run. The cottage is located in a great location. Close to the beach and shops. Will definitely stay here again.

great stay, adorable cottage

Loved out stay, the cottage was adorable and had everything almost everything that you need. Just be aware that there is no dishwasher. Totally could have been in the listing, I didn't see it. Otherwise, everything was good. Decor was fantastic.

Great, Pet Friendly vacation home!

We enjoyed our stay at the blue cottage! So much so that we extended our stay a day. This house was cozy and comfortable. The yard was super pet friendly for our 2 labs. It was shaded enough even in the hottest part of the day for our dogs to get out and stretch their legs. We were convenient to everything. The beds were comfortable, the couch was soft and the kitchen had everything needed for the nights we prepared food. We absolutely would stay here again!!
