Nuestra estancia fue muy placentera, la ubicacion del hotel al principio si llama la atención porque hay puestos ambulantes sobre la calle, y pareciera que uno no puede ni siquiera aparcarse para hace el check in, pero no, porque a pesar de los puestos hay un lugar justo enfrente desocupado para estacionar el coche y hacer el proceso de registro y asignacion de habitacion. Por la noche los puestos se quitan y queda la calle vacia, el movimiento no es tanto, pero en nuestra experiencia fue seguro caminar de noche por los alrededores. Nuestra habitacion tenia vista a la calle, sin ningun inconveniente. El desayuno buffet bien, quizas podrian agregar, mas opciones de proteina animal y pan dulce, pues ofrecen pan y capsulas para untar mermelada o mantequilla. Lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue que en todo momento las personas tanto de la recepcion, como del restaurante y el resto de personal (incluso el menos carismatico, serio y rudo) siempre resolvieron nuestras solicitudes y casi todos con una sonrisa o al menos con una actitud educada. Agradecemos mucho sus atenciones. Lo unico malo es que el tiempo no fue suficiente para disfrutar mas tan bella ciudad.

Hotel Real Alma was a great find for me. It was my first solo trip and I wanted to stay at a hotel that was close to the main center and everything, and hotel Alma was just that. It was about 20 mins to airport and it’s walking distance away to the square and every other place in centro. One of the other reasons I booked hotel Alma was the included breakfast, and let me tell you, the breakfast buffet every morning was so delicious with veg/non veg options. The dining staff were so nice and humble people and I just loved it. Hotel Alma itself is a beautiful small hotel, the rooftop is definitely the highlight of the hotel and that is where breakfast buffet is set up each morning as well. I highly recommend hotel Alma for anybody looking to book in centro area Oaxaca and I will def come back 💯

Las habitaciones son considerablemente más pequeñas de lo que aparentan en las fotos. Los baños tenían un olor desagradable que obligaba a mantener la ventana abierta todo el tiempo, ya que el aroma se filtraba hacia la habitación. Además, las instalaciones en general lucen descuidadas y envejecidas. Reservamos una habitación Deluxe con cama Queen, pero nos asignaron una con cama matrimonial, lo cual fue decepcionante. Otro punto a considerar es que el hotel está rodeado de puestos ambulantes, lo que complica mucho caminar por las banquetas y afecta la experiencia en la zona.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the breakfast on the top floor. Because it is conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and stores, it does get pretty busy in the morning and can get noisy. Just be ready to start your day early and you'll be just fine.
