The hotel itself is fantastic. Room is spacious and clean, staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is amazing. Location is also very good, just a short walk to center of town. Overall we loved the hotel. The only downside, and frankly this is not something the hotel can do, is that there can be loud thumping music (we were in town during low season) or barking dogs at night around the area where the hotel is. If you’re not as sensitive to noise or a sound sleeper then this probably won’t be an issue.

We spent a week here and loved the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also took some of the cooking classes which were excellent. It's an easy walk to the main plazas and there are a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It's a little oasis of quiet and comfort in a vibrant and fascinating city. The self-service honor bar is also a really nice amenity and the breakfasts were wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel de Corazon in Oaxaca for a week, and 5 out of the 7 days there was no hot water. That was unacceptable, every day I told the front desk about the hot water issue and I was given excuses and reasons instead of solutions. Taking cold showers the majority of our stay was very uncomfortable. Management did not offer any real apology, compensation, or urgency to fix the problem. I was also told the reason they did not move us to another room was because they were full. I contacted Expedia and was told the hotel refused to offer any compensation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning to this hotel again!

El lugar te abraza no solo por el espacio, sino por la gente tan hermosa y calida. Comimos espectacular y, no solo eso, tomamos una clase de cocina oaxaqueña que nos llevamos como una de las experiencias más lindas del viaje. Adicional a esto, parte de los recursos de sus ganancias lo destinan al apoyo de la educación... Hermosos!! Seguro regresaremos!!

Quiero dejar un par de comentarios con respecto a la experincia culinaria. Creo pudieran contratar una verdadera cocinera tradicional si no es posible un chef. Consideramos que por lo que se oferta en la pa'gina no corresponde en la pra'ctica. Por otro , lado es importante contar con los morrales suficientes para cada participante, algo muy simple que hace la diferencia entre lo profesional y la improvisacion. Con todo ello pasamos una convivencia amena entre los participantes.

Quiero expresarles mi más sincero agradecimiento por las atenciones brindadas a mis padres durante su estancia este fin de semana, con motivo de una boda a la que asistieron en la ciudad. Me compartieron lo bien que la pasaron y, sobre todo, lo especiales y cuidados que se sintieron en todo momento. Para ellos, no fue solo hospedarse en un hotel: fue sentirse en casa, rodeados de calidez, amabilidad y excelente servicio. Gracias por hacer de su experiencia algo tan bonito y significativo. Wow! What a fantastic boutique hotel! We stayed a week and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is wonderful, super helpful, patient with those of us still working on our Spanish, and the complimentary breakfast is top notch! I would highly recommend the Hotel con Corazon and we will definitely come back again.

Amazing hotel, great views, close to the center. We loved every part of our stay. Only now wish we were staying here for longer. Also brilliant to know it's a social enterprise that helps local schools with your money going towards local communities.

Hotel corazon es seguro, limpio, las instalaciones son 10/10 y el personal bien amable. Lo unico es que está un poco distante del centro pero recomiendo esté hotel en Oaxaca si quieres algo economico y bonito.
