**Although this is an oceanfront property, the ocean view from the unit is affected by the sand dunes.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. EV charging is not available/permitted on the premises. Doing so is cause for removal. There are charging stations at 100th St. bayside, 40th St. bayside, and at Royal Farms and Wawa in West Ocean City.

Unit is not well kept. Wall heating units rusty, baseboards very dusty. Wallpaper peeling in 1/2 bath and mirrors on medicine cabinet loose with dirty shelves, one bed sounded like all the springs were rusty or broken(very noisy), blender on kitchen counter very dusty. Lamp In living room area with loose broken shade. Info says ocean front, but it should say, “ocean front without ocean view. All you can see is a sand dune.. overall disappointing. Had a good week, however, would never rent again.

Great price for a short stay

This cozy little space was a little run down, but you cannot beat it for the price. There was 5 of us, including the little toddler. We all managed well, I do recommend bringing some basic cleaning supplies for the floor.

Good and Bad

There are some really good things and some really bad things about this property. The check-in process, location, fridge and the shower were all excellent. The fridge was cold and the ice maker, made ice! The shower pressure was also great. You are steps from the beach The bad things include the air conditioning and the beds. The AC in the bedroom never worked, so we had to go out and buy a fan. The box spring on the one bed was BROKEN in half. It might take me a few chiropractic appointments to fix my neck from the HORRIBLE mattresses. The bedroom was clean, but had a moldy/mildew smell. Bring Febreeze!

Most Needed Recommendations

Positives for this property were price, location, clean linens, and easy in/out. Recommendations for this property are many, but easy fixes. It would be beneficial to add a new coat of paint to the scraped walls and rusted heat registers. Also, non-stick pots and pans are hazardous when surface is scraped off so badly. It wouldn't take a lot to purchase a new skillet, saucepan, set of corelle dishes & spatula. Lastly, a few clothes hangars in the two closets would give people a place to hang their jackets so that they are out of the way. I hope that this submission is taken in the positive light that it is meant to be. I would stay here again IF updates were made & advertised.

The place

Overall it was just par...There was not a lot of attention paid to detail in cleaning and the joint smelled of mold upon our arrival. Cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings and walls We went to Walmart the next morning and bought febreeze, lysol, and scented candles. The filters in the AC'S either need to be cleaned or changed...we made it work and it met our need...but we would probably not stay here again

Holiday Stay

The photos of the property were on point, however, in person there are some major upgrades needed. The heating elements were rusted out and were very noisy, the grout in the flooring is dirty and stained, the bathroom needs a complete gut job, and the beds were squeaky and not very comfortable. Dirt in the corners adn rhe baseboards were dirty or needed painting

It was a typical beach property.

Nothing fancy. It fit the need. Could use some updating as the furniture and fixtures were worn but in usable condition. The appliances were okay. They worked. That’s all that is important. Like the title says, it was a typical beach hotel/condo. Nothing fancy but it fit the needs of a beach vacation.

Location was very damp and very dirty. The floors were not cleaned and left our feet black after walking on them. Radiators were not cleaned and very dusty. Bed fram was broken upon arrival. Called property management twice to schedule maintenance to fix. They stated to have put in a request and i was told they would call me. I never received a call and we only had one bed to use for 3 people. The listing also stated one king bed and when we arrived we had 2 full beds. Overall the management is awful and unresponsive, very dirty and outdated property. Would never book with Vacasa again.

Needs a deep cleaning

There was a broken towel rack with a hole in the wall in the bathroom. The ac unit has mold and the vents in the bathroom need a deep cleaning. I swept the sand off the porch and vacuumed when we got there.

Convenient location; nice property for the price

This was a last minute getaway with a friend for the weekend. The location was terrific. Convenient to and from the beach access. Quick walk to restaurants and bars. It could use some minor updates (wallpaper is very dated; area carpet in living room should be replaced; towel bar in main bathroom coming off the wall; tub/shower drain very slow). Recommend a door matt on the back patio so you have something to help clean the sand off feet when returning from the beach. If it weren't for the minor things, I would give this property a five star for everything.

The location saved this vacation

I decided to book a quick girls trip for my elderly mother, my 19 year old and 10 year old daughters, and myself. My mother can't walk far which is why we chose this unit and beach location. The directions for the self check-in key pad were wrong, but we figured it out. The neighbor came by and tried to help. Very nice guy. The area was pretty quiet and low key too, which was nice upon arrival. However entering the unit, you could feel the dampness and there was a musty smell. The air conditioner wasn't on and didn't kick on the whole time we were there. The unit appears clean at first glance, but once you start looking around...it's quite filthy. The dishes had food on them, spills inside the cupboard, the ice maker didn't work, the floors left your feet black, dust everywhere, shower kept backing up...it was gross. We ate out the whole time and I didn't even use the coffee pot *which is HUGE since coffee is LIFE! The cable TV was a bit of a PITA too! There were hardly any channels and annoying talking subtitles that were hard to get off. We wound up using the Netflix/Disney+ channels that were from people who failed to log off before they left. However, I didn't see a single bug the whole time and our sliding doors opened up to a nice view of the dunes, a lovely breeze and the sound of the ocean. The proximity of this unit to the beach is what saved our short trip. My youngest enjoyed using the provided beach toys (we even added a few to the collection). This place could be a real gem if it were updated and thoroughly cleaned.

The toilet in bedroom wouldn’t stop running, minimal cable channels, the coffee mugs were dirty .

It was a nice location but could have been slightly cleaner that was overlooked. Small ice cream dish was left in freezer from previous renters. Just feel like for the price cleanliness issues should have not been overlooked. Overall stay was good. Will prob not stay here again.

Plus, the property was on the beach and on the 1st floor. I was disappointed upon walking in, it smelled damp and moldy. The place needs some updating, the vents need cleaning because there was so much dust in them, the walks could use a coat of paint, there was rust everywhere and the sofa has stains and spots all over it, so much so that I wouldn't sit on it ot the chair without covering it with the sheet set that was placed underneath the TV in the living room, the head board to the 1st bed you come upon when you walk into the bedroom is about to fall off of the wall and the mattress covers were dingy and stained. When we finished wiping with disinfect all over the unit,, showered and got into bed the sheets felt moist from the dampness in the unit. I've never been so let down.

Quiet location

Overall, there are some minor annoyances, but we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. Pros: The location is absolutely excellent. It's near everything there is to do in Ocean City, but still at a quieter part of the beach away from the boardwalk. The back porch has a beautiful view of the dunes (not the ocean, but you can still hear it) and I spent a lot of time just sitting out there in the sun and relaxing. It's a very short walk onto the beach directly out the back door, and there are beach chairs and umbrellas for use, which was really nice. The kitchen is very well-stocked (even a French press!) and the place was overall very clean, which is comforting in days of Covid. Cons: As other reviews have mentioned, the dampness was definitely noticeable, though it wasn't a huge problem at the time of our stay in late October with the weather being relatively cool. I might have been more bothered by it if it were very hot as well. In general, the place does need a bit of updating. The beds, or at least the mattresses, need to be replaced, and there are almost no outlets in the bedroom.

Love the Location

The condo was in a great location, and right on the beach which was great. The place itself needs a few upgrades. The air-conditioning unit in the bedroom was loud, which would have been fine if we could have just set it to run continuously. Instead it cycled on and off which was frustrating. Also, the toilet in the main bathroom appears to be needing repair -- the bolts holding it down are rusted. Finally, there were crumbs on the carpet. While it smelled like bleach when we checked in, it seemed to me to just make us feel better about staying there during COVID. I think with a little money spent on fixing up the unit, not just on cosmetic repairs, it would be a worthwhile place to revisit again.

Great location & perfect if have small children

We had a great stay. The first floor was great for easy access on and off the beach. Although I did miss my ocean view it was nice to be able to walk right off of the back porch onto the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances needed. Was nice they gave you dishwasher pods, soap, and a sponge! Also sheets and towels were provided. Was great having a washer and dryer My only issue was working the TV. I am great with electronics, but was slightly confused. Also the bedroom felt very damp. I can see the owners tried to correct it with the Damp-aids that are placed in the unit, but the bedroom sheets almost felt WET for the first 2 days. Also the dresser drawers had a STRONG musty odor so My husband, daughter, and I had to live out of our suitcases for the week which was difficult. Aside from the dampness in the bedroom the unit was perfect.
