We recently stayed here and I have to say, the staff were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating people. Their hospitality really stood out and made us feel welcomed. We booked a suite, and while the layout and idea of the room were great, there were a few things that left us disappointed. The room itself could use some extra attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The carpet left our feet dirty, and we noticed stains (very yellow) on the pillows and mattress (thankfully, we had brought our own pillows). There was also a large gap under the exterior door, which allowed rainwater to come inside and soak the floor during our stay. For safety, the sliding glass door to the balcony didn’t lock, which worried us since we had our little one with us. The safety latch on the main door was also close to broken. Overall, the staff were truly excellent, but the suite itself needs some refreshing and a little extra care to match the warm service. With some updates, this place could be amazing.

I have a video of flooding conditions of bathroom ceiling. We couldn’t use the bathroom. The sofa bed was horrible with feeling spring , phone was not working, no hangers, one basin , laundry room has no lights and from desk has no coin, the bathroom faucet was loose. Sands were all over place. I wanna my money back.please send the number for complain and forward the video of water dripping all night!

Pros: Good location, parking, easy beach walk Cons: Included breakfast consists of a banana, packaged muffins, and bagels (there is no sitting in to eat and not even a bathroom or real lobby; feels like a motel setup not a hotel). Pool is very small. Shower in our room reached scalding level on its own and had to be adjusted constantly. Pillows are not supportive and feel thin and cheap. Despite signs warning of no smoking allowed the elevater smelled of smoke, including Marijuana. Expected more from a 3-star hotel..

I booked room as ocean view and allocated me room partial ocean view. With great explanation from staff it’s ocean view came out side to you balcony and enjoy ocean view.

Went away for a quick weekend. You will get what you pay for here. Lady at the desk had an attitude problem at check in and the second day when I went to ask where they kept the ice. Property has no smoking signs up all over but people smoke constantly. First night we had kids banging on our door and running away up to almost 11 at night. Went to the desk to say something and there was no one anywhere there to be found. Beds are like sleeping on a concrete floor. Showers have no water pressure. I had to fix our showerhead and faucet in the tub because both were loose to the point where they were coming off. Hallways were dirty. Hotel was dirty in general. Only positive was our balcony with a partial ocean view. Just don't book with high expectations as you will be disappointed and the attitude problem at the desk capped it. They know they have issues here, they just aren't interested in fixing them. We go to OCMD yearly and we won't be back here and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

When we checked in, we noticed that the beds were slightly dirty… a few hairs a grain of sand here or there. Every time I check into a room I peel back the sheets and search the room for signs of bedbugs before even bringing my bags up to the room. When I did this, I found that the space between the top sheet and the mattress cover was quite dirty a good amount of sand and dirt and lots of hair. I went to the front desk and explain the situation and the Desk clerk offered to have somebody come switch it all out right away and clean the beds. We agreed. I did have to call a second time as they did not come up right away. It was over 25 minutes. When they took the mattress cover off the second bed, the mattress showed a huge stain. The person cleaning pointed out the stain about the same time that I noticed it. He immediately offered us another room. I looked closely at the stain and then smelled it, and it turned out to be what we believe was just juice. The room was a little bit rundown and I was so focused on the bed so I didn’t notice that the bathroom walls were dirty, particularly in the area right behind where the door opens so it’s somewhat that a cleaner could miss it. The hotel‘s policy of only cleaning every few days is definitely coming back to bite them. The air conditioner was dusty and the filter on it definitely needed changed or cleaned. The safety door latch was coming unscrewed. The price view and location were great and the staff was friendly.

The staff in the office was friendly and nice. The bathtub & shower was not cleaned. The outside toilet was not clean. the floor next to the main door of the room & the bathroom floor was not swept. A stained pillow case, stained towel and the shower curtain was not changed. I have pictures of it all. The amount of people outside at night partying was unacceptable after 10pm.

The ONLY highlight of this hotel was the view of the ocean from our balcony. Our room was dusty, the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in awhile, stains on the towels and blanket and long hairs found in one of the beds. The phone in our room did not work, and we had to unplug the clock because it was making a weird static like noise throughout the night. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper since daily service of our room was nonexistent. When we asked at the front desk, one employee told us that there should be someone cleaning the room every day, yet another employee said we only get service if we request it. The street noise during the night was unbearable and kept us all up. The sound of trucks and motorcycles racing up the street was so loud that it felt like we were camping outside. One night around 2:45 a.m., we heard 6 gunshots outside (also heard by guests next door to us.). The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We did NOT feel safe at this hotel at all. We would NEVER stay here again and would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

Hotel needs an upgrade and a really good top to bottom clean. The main door had many cracks and didnt lock properly as well as the linen was never changed and it was very hard to get extra towels as they normally had a wait time. Parking was very limited at times resulting in having to walk through the smoking area to get to the room and the smell of weed was awful. I dont recommend this hotel.
