This is a vintage property. Very well maintained very clean. Every staff member was friendly smiled and helped with all our needs. We booked 2 rooms and would definitely stay here again. I’ve been vacationing in OC since I was a little. My kids now love coming here. Literally walk out your door to beach access and boardwalk.

There is no restroom by pool, only had 3 sets of towels for 4 ppl. Only was given 1 key, never called us when room was ready like I was told. No storage in the bathroom to put anything, didn’t provide a hair dryer.

This was a nice clean place convenient to everything. We were third floor ocean front, and really enjoyed the location and the views. It’s an older original OC property which definitely shows its age, but is more than adequate for a comfortable stay. The room was updated and clean, and the A/C nice and cold. Would stay here again.

Place is not a place you want to bring your family to. First there is NO ELEVATOR!! Every where you go there’s people smoking cigs and weed. When I got in the room it smelled terrible. Stains on the floor. Electrical outlet was hanging out of the wall. Everything was damp in that room. Bathroom was so outdated so was the room. Contacted Expedia right away. They were able to get me a refund for the remainder of the trip. Unfortunately the hotel charged me for the first night.

The carpet in the apartment was damp and cold. The apartment itself smelled of a lot of bleach and we were forced to buy air freshener to tone it down. It was otherwise clean. There were stuff to add to coffee but no coffee.

The best thing about this property is the location. It is at the north end of the boardwalk and has a great view. Otherwise, the property is dirty - the handrails at the steps haven’t been wiped down in God-only-knows how long. The tv in our room could not be controlled via the remote except to change the channels. Maintenance could not get it to work either. Most likely will not stay here again. Not a good value for what we paid.

The pictures are different from what the room looks like, But the hotel is very clean, and the staff are very friendly. I had to go to trouble checking in but one phone call and the staff directed me where to go. Would definitely go back.
