“What a beautiful home! The lake was awesome. The house was immaculate. Our hosts laid such a welcome out with snacks and beverages. The recommendations were spot on. DDeserves more then a five star”

“Girls trip...3 elder sisters plus second generation niece and her 2 daughters. We all agreed everything was perfect at this location. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. The area was charming and steeped in early history of the thousand Islands……

“Trout Lake has been an annual summer trip for us for the last 7 years and this house is our favorite rental by far. The cottage is cozy, but well appointed. We love the extensive waterfront in this beautiful cove and spend most of our time on the pontoon, in kayaks, hanging out on the dock or in the game room, and playing in the beautifully clear water. This year there were brand new kayaks to use and a new paddle board! The pontoon is incredibly easy to use and provides tons of fun out on the……

The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. We also traveled to the next town over for the pumpkin chunkin festival which was a lot of fun. Thanks to Bob for recommending this! ”

“My family traveled to Alexandria Bay for a wedding on one of the islands and we loved our base at this house. It was in an amazing location, walkable to the main street where the shops, restaurant, bars and churches were located. The hostess was very professional and attentive. We had very good interaction.The house is lovely, we enjoyed having coffee on the front port in the morning. I would stay there again when another chance comes up to visit the area.”

“This property was awesome! Stayed with some co-workers for a fishing charter trip. House was clean and fit 5 people comfortably. Met the people at the rental house next door and made new friends. Property has a bunch of firepits with awesome view of the sunset over Boldt Castle. The owners were great to communicate with and very accommodating. We are hoping to have the entire office stay at the Ledges for next year's fishing trip.”

“Very nice stay, could be improved with a few inexpensive minor changes- an additional towel rack in the bathroom, more implements in the kitchen, instructions for use of some of the extras and appliances, and some warning about the fact that you can't park on the street overnight. Also a chair on night stand in each bedroom.”
