And there were some great places to eat within 20 minute walk away (which we were eager to take advantage of because of the beautiful fall weather). “The stay was great - easy place to stay close to Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland which is why we wanted to be there. Clean, roomy, nice bed and reasonably private. Very quite and scenic. Needs a curtain for the kitchen window and a bigger mirror in the bathroom. Also beware: no Wifi. I had two 4G bars on my phone so that was good enough but pretty limited.”
