“This is the third year in a row that my son and I stayed in Gunnison for the first week of May. We’ve stayed at hotels the last two years. The this year, I started looking into VRBO rentals. I found this fantastically appointed home for our 6 night stay. It was perfect for what we needed as a home base. We hiked 8-10 hours each day and it was a superior experience to come “home” afterwards. No more stopping at the hotel, cleaning up and heading to a well deserved dinner. The kitchen was……

“We did a week long Spring Break stay at Scot’s home in CB South. Quiet and ultra convenient location that was walkable to several good restaurants and a coffee shop. Bus to town and mountain was only an 8 minute walk away. There was also a trail head just a short walk East of the house. The house itself is setup really well for families or groups of individuals. Bedrooms are separated, plenty of common space, nice big equipped kitchen, and outdoor spaces as well. Scot is excellent host and very……

“Only issue was the door code did not work. A quick call to vrbo and issue was resolved. Clean and spacious home great location. Would recommend.”

“The studio apartment was clean and cozy. The neighborhood was a bit crowded as the studio is over the garage and entry is off the alley. That said it was relatively quiet and close to stores. A few suggestions: dish towels and/ or paper towels were not provided. Dishes couldn’t go in microwave which impacted some of my meal prep. No hand soap in kitchen although there was dish soap. Shampoo and conditioner and body wash in shower were almost empty as was Body lotion. I had my own products so it……

“My wife and I (and our little dog) had a wonderful time in Donna's place along the Gunnison River. In mid-May the river was quite full and fast. It is only 50 feet out the back door with chairs on the back deck or a swinging seat in the yard overlooking the river. As mentioned in her description we had deer walking thru the yard every day. There are places on either side but we never saw anyone or any other noises. Very quiet and peaceful. If you come in May know that at altitude (7700 ft) it……

“The house wasn’t cleaned when we arrived due to cleaning issues. The owner quickly rectified it and we had a great stay. Comfortable and great location. Quick walk to Gunnison River. ”

“This house was great for our family of 10! Great location. We skied everyday and enjoyed CB and the Almont resort restaurant across the street. Fireplaces didn’t work, so that was a bummer. Also, the water heater cannot accommodate 10 showers at a time. Take short showers.. ”
