“Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took.”

“We loved everything about this sweet place. The yard and garden is so serene and peaceful. And the house is as cute as it could be. The location worked well for side trips to Abiquiú, the local wineries were fun visits, and all of the locals were friendly and warm. Highly recommend. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing that took us by surprise was that there was no Air Conditioner, so when we arrived on Friday it was quite hot in the house, we opened windows and doors but it never cooled down until Saturday morning.Aside from that, we truly enjoyed it! ”

“It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla. Other than that ( it’s not the property fault) the place was great. Had a neat hiking trail, fire pit, some neat art work in the typical New Mexico vibe. If you love nature this is a……

“Cute and clean. Plenty of room and a fantastic view in all directions. No ac, but you don’t need it, even in July it is so nice. Our family of four had the best time in and around town. And then we were able to come “home” just south of town and really relax.”

Lazy drive to shopping/dining (is NM doing a passive aggressive protest of TX speed limits?), so stock up since you won’t want to leave anyway. This house makes you want to rent it for a month and write your novel”
