“The stay was the best to date by far. I’ve been coming to old forge for years and always looking for a great place to stay. I need to look no more. Matt was awesome at responding to everything. The attention to detail in the house was perfect. From fresh towels to the coffee and different flavor creamers and even the small things like having hooks outside near the hot tub to hang towels. The house was also spotless. Clean from top to bottom. This will be my new spot for the future. Perfect! ”

“There lodge was awesome, especially the patio! We had a great time with cousins that hadn’t been together in years! We had 1 small issue with the door lock needing the battery replaced. Once VRBO notified the gentleman was there to fix it in about a half hour or less! Great service!”

“The property was magnificent and spacious! Beautiful views of the lake! Plenty of living spaces to be gather together or have separate time as needed, for our multigenerational family if 10. Th property contained everything needed for fun on the lake, meal prep and comfort. Cleanliness was great even to my exacting standards. Our host was very easy to communicate either and responded quickly to any questions that came up. Timberwind was fabulous!”

“Our family ranged in ages 8-80 and all of us had an amazing time! Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking was everyone’s favorite past time. The huge dock accommodated all of us. It was especially nice having Old Forge literally right around the corner. The beautiful house was enormous with plenty of room for everyone. This was one of our favorite vacations!”

“Good location…only five minutes to get to all the fun in Old Forge! Great area for hiking, water sports, going out to eat, and shopping. The house was clean, and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us. Really liked the finished basement bonus area and being able to do laundry. There’s a short walk to the shore from the house that could be challenging for someone with mobility issues due to the tree roots on the path. But the path is pretty and First Lake is lovely. “The property is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor deck and large dock….but be careful with the plastic Adirondack chairs—they blow into the water if there’s wind. The kitchen is very well equipped, plus bath and beach towels are supplied. Pack light-there’s even a laundry room. This is a great place for families!!!”

“Our family of 6 members ranging in age from teen to 70s had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving on Fourth lake. Every room was comfortable and clean, and we had a blast with the pool table, by the water, and more. We got to see every kind of weather, from hiking to waterfalls to getting "snowed in." Truthfully, we weren't snowed in as Jordan, our host, immediately contacted a plow company when asked, we were just enjoying the snowy views and relaxation so much that we chose to stay in. ……
