Small motel, friendly proprietors, sufficient space in the room, fridge, microwave, heater – all work. Hot water also sufficient. A basic "value for money" place. Nothing fancy, but adequate for spending the nights, while the days are in the towns or on the beach.

Price was reasonable. Manager was very helpful and would even let me checkout later due to having to change for my way home after a funeral I attended. Rooms were nice and clean and parking was good.

The main heating system was broken, requiring use of the backup system. The room was EXTREMELY cold and it took nearly an hour to warm up. No one had gone into the room to preheat it. Poor service. The back up heating system was VERY noisy and disrupted my sleep all night. Not a pleasant experience and I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I really only used the room to get dressed and do my hair and makeup, as my date and I were going to stay there and we got into a disagreement, so I took my things and went home. But it is such a nice motel. It was my second time going there and the cleanliness, neatness, the kind staff, safety... it is highly recommended to even more expensive hotels on the same road.

This vintage but nicely-renovated motel met my recent travel needs. Grew up in nearby Madison, and I am still surprised at the limited lodging choices along the busy Connecticut Shoreline! Originally planned a two-night stay, but my trip departure was delayed. I contacted reception to advise - no worries - and my room was ready when I arrived. Nice to know this is here, for future reference. 'Coffee Break' in the center of Clinton serves a tasty breakfast and lunch. Thank you, Clinton Motel!
