“We were looking for a peaceful, quiet base to explore the area around Burney Falls and Fall River Mills. Jared's cabin more than delivered. Comfortable deck overlooking Hat Creek, very comfortable bed (master bedroom also with a view of the creek), kitchen and home had all the essentials for a perfect stay. Jared was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We plan to return. Highly recommend.”

“House was in a great location - fishing 10 to 15 min, shopping 5 min. Fantastic. The house was big and set up well, beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. The yard was big and fully fenced for our little dog we brought with us. We were there for 6 days and would most definitely stay again. It's a great place ”

“Check in was simple. We loved that the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled making it easy to find kitchen items. Had a group of deer come through the yard with two fawns. Was nice to watch them. ”

“Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. ”

“This is more than just a house; it's a destination. I viewed more wildlife from this house than any of our hikes combined. I couldn't tear myself away from the sunroom. We saw families of deer, ducks, geese, squirrels and so many birds! Had I not been able to go out exploring I would've been just fine letting nature come to me at this house. The home has all of the essentials with thoughtful considerations. The Mr. Coffee coffee maker was pleasant to enjoy a pot of coffee while watching the……
