“Lack of staff at reception for check-in. I checked in and being asked to obtain a credit card, when I am getting in, someone come to ask to solve a problem. I have been waiting patiently for few mins but not solved yet. And I drive the car out to wander around the site for another 20 mins and return. The staff is still talking to that person to solve the problem. I don’t want to be rude but I spent more than enough time in waiting for someone to cut me out and finish the check in finally at 8pm.……

“Overall, the stay was enjoyable—beds were very comfortable, rooms were spacious, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Definitely ticked the boxes for comfort. However, a few things could be improved. There wasn’t a good range of late-night snacks, and nothing could be ordered after 9pm. No mini bar or cold water provided in the rooms either, which was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast couldn’t be ordered to the room, which was surprising. The hotel bar drinks were on the expensive side,……

“The location was amazing with wonderful views over the estate. The Hotel was modern clean and very relaxing. The whole dining experience was great, with great food & wonderful wines. The staff were very helpful. We would definitely recommend Re'em Yarra Valley if staying in the Yarra Valley.”

“The room we stayed in was clean, updated and had everything you needed like a microwave, kettle and toaster. The decor was stark but clean. The room was big and the bathroom was quite new. There is plenty of parking. I think they might have some long term guests and as there is no smoking in the rooms, they were all smoking outside when we arrived. I found them friendly enough so no issue. It was very quiet even though it is on a busy main road. All in all it was perfect for a one night……

“The hotel definitely cannot be called Grand. It was build on a pub. But it is true it has a long history, built in 1833. It is not value for the money paid. First the checkin means calling the people from pub counter to the checkin desk to give you the key. And there is no elevator at the hotel, handicapped or large suitcase people not suggest to go. For the wind change in the bathroom, it cannot be even more noisy. I booked with the most experience room category, however the bedroom is facing……

“Very clean and comfortable but showing its age. There isn’t a daily room service but that wasn’t a problem as I was only there for 3 nights. Mine hosts very considerate and friendly. I would stay here again.”
