“Spent a couple getaway days celebrating my husband's birthday. Had a perfect evening canoe ride checking out the immediate area around us, had barbequed burgers and steaks watching the fire and the water! Awesome access to kayaks and trying this with our pup! The camp has a nice set up for our dog to play, stay within view and be able to swim! We loved sipping coffee with all the doors open and taking in the view! Anything we needed was perfectly labeled and we didn't need to bring anything……

The house is a great layout for enjoying the day and for meals. Sleeping arrangements are a little funky with the master being off of a converted room, but it’s not a deal-breaker by any stretch. I arrived later than expected and Gretchen kindly turned outside & inside lights on for me and unlocked the door so I didn’t have to get the keys out of the lockbox in the dark. Surrounded by trees and all of what I expected for trip to my home town! Definitely would return. ”

“The property was as advertised. We had no desire to be downtown so the quiet, remote location was perfect despite some ambient road noise in the mornings and late afternoons. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked for home-cooked meals. Hot tub was nice in the evenings. “Directions were good. Had all the amenities we needed. Coffee was provided which was a plus. Instructions and check out info was simple and easy to follow. There is a great view of Ranier, but unfortunately it was cloudy or raining most of the time. It was close and convenient to get to where we needed to go. ”

“It’s an older house with a Brady bunch feel. Super clean, towels for days. We had PERFECT lake weather, which I know is not the norm. Hot dry days. We swam, ate, swam and floated some more. Drove and explored Mount Rainer (1hour away). One evening I locked us out and Donna drove to unlock it for us, no hassle, no questions! THANK YOU DONNA!! If coming back to the area, I would definitely stay again.”

“This is a wonderful pet friendly place to stay. The Hostess, Renee, is excellent to work with. We needed to make a couple of scheduling changes and she made the process so easy. Communication is the best we have ever experienced. The home is comfortable and quiet. The host family lives on site and were absolutely amazing with providing privacy for this VRBO. The railroad tracks are near by and you do hear trains. The home is well insulated and we barely noticed them except when outside. I……
