Walked in and immediately saw a sign that said HOTTUB HEATER BROKEN on the front counter. Said something thing to the effect of “That’s disappointing, that was one of the perks that brought us to this hotel”. The gal at the front counter responded with “If you’re disappointed, I can offer you a free cancellation”. I didn’t ask for a discount or reparations, but I thought that this response was a bit inappropriate.
Otherwise, the hotel was just OK. Expected better considering its high ratings on Expedia. It was clean, but felt like it had been remodeled by the cheapest contractor they could find. The shower floor felt like it was going to cave in at any second. Lots of holes/blemishes/Etc in the walls. Not terrible for a budget hotel, just not as nice as we were expecting, given the location, reviews, and pictures on the website.
The breakfast was very good
