This is a really nice place to stay with one major caveat. They have a pool compressor which goes off every night at around 2am. And if they don't tell you that when you check in, you are suddenly jolted awake in the middle of the night, calling the front desk to find out why it sounds like someone is drilling into the wall (it's so loud, the outer wall of the room vibrates). It last for about 8 minutes.
When I asked about it the next morning at the front desk, that front desk person told me it goes off every 30 minutes. Which it doesn't. So there seems to be some confusion there. Either way, if it does go off once a day at 2 AM, it seems like perhaps they could reschedule it to a better time for everyone. At a minimum they could have told me when I checked in, which they did not.
So - if you are at all a light sleeper or someone who doesn't enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night by really loud noises, be sure that you asked to stay away from the pool compressor.
