“ Ayant résidé à plusieurs reprises dans des ryokan au Japon, et avec les superbes souvenirs qui s'y rattachent, je me faisais une joie de dormir dans un hanok en Corée, en me disant que ça serait une expérience équivalente. Grosse déception ! Avant même l'arrivée, mon texto demandant comment rejoindre l'hébergement est resté sans réponse. Quand j'ai fini par arriver grâce à l'aide de l'office du tourisme de la gare de Gyeongju, je suis tombé sur une dame qui ne semblait pas vraiment m'attendre,……

“This traditional Korean style Hanok was a quaint, peaceful stay with retro aesthetics combined with modern conveniences. We happened to rent the largest room on the property which has its own kitchenette, dining area and two queen sized beds. The bedding was clean and comfortable and the floors are heated with modern AC’s to blast (just in case you run hot and your spouse runs cold.) The other units seem like just rooms and futons with a communal kitchen right in the middle of the property. ……

“We enjoyed our stay at Hanok 1st. Although the Hanok was a little way out of the town centre (c. 20 min walk), we liked the peace and quiet of the area, and it is situated near all the main sites such as Woljeyeong Bridge (10 mins) ”

“경치가 평화롭고 앞마당에 잔디가 깔린 조용한 한옥 호텔에서 잘 쉬다 갑니다~ 정갈한 아침식사도 잘 먹었구요. 아침을 먹이고 보내고 싶은 진심을 느꼈습니다. 경주에 많은 외국인이 방문하는데 깨끗하고 친절해서 마음이 뿌듯했네요~👍”
