“Check-in was a bit quirky, but the location is great with a beautiful backdrop. Note: there's no AC, so it was a little warm at night. We briefly didn't have hot water and stove gas, but it was fixed within an hour. Overall, I’d recommend this place. ”

“My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) The hosts are good communicators and I would highly recommend this place for a big group looking for lots of space in a remote area of Hawaii island. “The Royal Palms was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio with a view of the amazing palm trees. Laurel was a great host! She provided us with items if we were missing anything in the suite and welcomed us to use the ice and filtered water from her outdoor fridge. We were delighted with the attractive and delicious fruit tray that was on the table when we arrived. We would highly recommend a stay at The Royal Palms. ”

“Beautiful home exactly as described on VRBO. Excellent communication with the host. Clean, well stocked and super comfortable. Can’t beat the view and sitting on the lanai watching the surfers and the occasional cruise ship come in. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again. ”
